Hi
I've updated my galleries with some new pictures from Prague and Glastonbury.

Glastonbury Festival

Prague & Cesky Krumlov

If anyone has any comments or suggestions, that would be most welcome

Thanks,

Nice galleries.

I particularly like the Glastonbury shot 'muddy vixen' because the guy with the camera (a noink by the look if it) is leering at the girl and the people in the background look really grumpy.

Wow,

They certainly assault your senses! I love the Prague one. Some great individual pics but the montage is great.

My favourites (I think!) are the close up of the skeleton/clock and the weir thru the arch. Wats with the floating strawberry??

Keep em coming!

Thanks for your comments - the mid air strawberry... well, in the old square in Prague, everybody was taking hundreds of pictures, so I quite fancied having one which was a little different.
I had a box of strawberries so got my girlfriend to throw one in the air which I managed to frame on the 20th try!

I could lie and say it was about the symbolism of summer/lust against a medieval backdrop :)

Yeah, those muddy girl pictures always get in the press from rainy festivals ( probably dates back to Mudstock ).
As an amateur snapper it's quite handy when a 'pro' lines a shot up that I wouldn't have the confidence to do, then shoot him taking it.
The result maybe says more about the moment than the pro's shot ???!

I think it probably says more about the girl and the other girls looking on! :)

Was that Lake Louise I spotted in one of your galleries?

What camera do you use btw.

Ha ha...:)

Yeah, good spot on Lake Louise. That's my 'jigsaw' picture which sits above my mum's fireplace.

I've been using a canon ixus 500 for the last year and think it's great. 5MP is quite alright at the moment, though I feel if I want to take it further, I'll need to upgrade to a chunkier model for greater manual control, but I've got to save up, and will probably still use the ixus anyway for it's sheer convenience

NB some of my older galleries use an ixus 330 which was great also.

The Prague ones are great, but I cannot get the Glastonbury ones won't show up and I'd love to see them. My mate went and loced it and we are planning on going next time - but thats in 2 years!

glastonbury is well worth going to - so much to see and do; 5 days is too short, but for anybody who could smell me and my friends on the Tube on the way home would say it is WAY too long :)

PS : do you have any web filters? there is one 'naked' picture which may be blocked somehow!

Just had a quick look at some of your other galleries - awesome! I have to say I really like the montage way you put them up.

No web filters and no worries as it is working today.

The photos are great, it looks like a damn good festival.
