All shots grabbed whilst at work! but cold, cramped and bruised but in the bag at the end of the day.

First one looking through the cupola on top of the Herc. a great view all round

Actually on the same trip and aircraft C-130 tanker taking on fuel and then giving it away!!

I had a mate who was on the line sqn at Lyneham :-)

Which F3 sqn was tanking ?

These are GREAT John! I've got to admit that this is the best detail I've ever seen for air to air refueling. :D
Do they ever spill any?

A very small amount is lost when they disconnect. See shot below of when our Herc. lost contact with the drogue. Hope this helps Bruce

Do you ever make it over to the states in the hercs or VC-10? If so do you ever get to Dulles. You guys have a RAFLO there and we work the aircraft. Maybe we can chat sometime..

The sky looks a little grainy in the first one. Digital noise or JPEG compression? Have you tried noise reduction software?
