I have a D30 and was using the arcane zoombrowser that came with it, but I recently purchased a s230 as my "take everywhere" camera and when I loaded the zoombrowser from the s230 box, it automatically upgraded the older version. Now when I am loading D30 pics directly from the camera, I am a little confused with the way it is converting RAW to linear tiff...I don't even know if it is converting properly.

Has anyone dealt with these issues?

The generic zoombrowser converts RAW to TIF. I've never seen a problem on mine. You did not state what versions you use.
