Went for a day at the track with the bikes...had a blast! How'd I do?

You did a pretty good job for the first time, were these taken with the 75-300?
The colours in the first one just pop right out at ya, great shots.

they look great...but if i am not mistaken did you use the shadow/highlights.....i think you lightened the shadows a little too much

LOVE the first shot! Always liked crowded turns! So much tension with everyone so close! ANYTHING could happen! Nice capture...especially the first time out.

Well I was going to ask if these were shot with the 75-300, but i'm pretty sure they were. I recognize the slightly harsh bokeh on the grass on the second pic. But I don't want to detract! Those are some great shots of one of my favorite subjects. Excellent effort :)

Nice composition and a good low angle make these pretty exciting shots.
If I have a criticism it's that the shutter speed appears way too high. You shouldn't be able to see the tyre tread, wheel spokes etc. like that.
That aside, I particularly like the reflections in the rider's visor in the second shot.
