I would really like to know where you all get your 4X6 prints made, how much it cost you to get them printed and the most important what you charge a client for a 4X6 print?

Thanks,

Dave

Costco $0.19, winkflash $0.17, Snapfish $0.12, and list goes on and on. What you charge is what you think its worth.

I the UK my 6x4 prints cost 12 pence.
I charge anything from 25p (as part of a photo print package) up to £4.50 for individual shots. It depends on my client and the circumstances.

For example if I do a shoot and I presend 40+ images to my client, I also offer an 'added value service' where they can recieve a full album of 6x4 prints for £xx - usually working out at between 25 & 75p per print and if the want the prints in the album another £XX for that. So far every client who has taken the 6x4 package has also ordered more prints that the package includes.

I don't really see 6x4 prints as the money makers though, so I start my individual pricing at 5x7.

5x7 is my minimum size, for which I charge $10.

In the UK, Snappy Snaps (crap name) do 100 for £20.

Takes me about a day to get a 100 from raw to sorted.

No charge as it's for friends.

Graham, I ude DFP Processing group on the AGFA net print service. £14 for 100 6x4 including postage (postage covers entire order) and you will have it usually in 48 hours.

The prints are pretty damn good too!

I get mine in a couple of hours, but that is a healthy saving. Is there a url for that at all?

I would prefer 7x5's, but there is no 'special' deal on those from SS.

Thanks for the info Richard.

Yep, their website is pants.
Download the latest software from http://www.agfaphoto.com/en-GB/index.html then select DFP from the drop down. You may be able to get it cheaper from other stores but I always get great prints and service from DFP.
