Im a new member also a nevbie at using digital cameras after reviewing and reading bout them on the net i bought canon s45 witch im wery pleased with but now today something bad happened ...

i whas taking pictures of an party for elderly people on my job i work as a medic as i got to round 80 photos sudenly on my lcd an CF EROOR message apered and camera stoped working :(

after i restarted it there were no images on the cf ??!!!! i tried to took some new and it worked anbut all the 80 i took before whas lost there arent on the card like they have dissapered i realy need this pictures for the firm i dont know what im gonna explayin to my boss tomorow since i whas photographing the whole event :((( !!!!!

im in deep trouble please help me out i need those pictures !?? can they be retrived somehow please help me out :/

Also, I'm pretty sure you can take the card to a "good" photo developing shop of some sort and perhaps they could help you out, but I from what I've heard recently, there is a way to get lost pictures. I don't think they're lost on the card, just not working in camera so don't retake new pics with old CF card. Good luck. you'll get the pictures.

Depending on the manufacturer, they can save the images when you send it in. Lexar media did for me.
