Portraits of my friend

Another 18-200 Sigma (Canon 24-85 USM II from next week) shoot this time with my wonderful friend Lucy. She works full time so I am thankful she took timeout one of only 2 days off. Peace \0/

The sky was very overcast so I had to change my original plan and go for different comps + crops instead as I wanted to get in scenery as much as possible with blue sky. Ah well maybe next time.

All editing done in RAW, PS used to size + frame

she's very pretty and looks like a young yodi foster.
well, i love all the images. my absolute favorite is the 2nd. maybe, 'cause i too love jeans and pearls, there's something very classy about grouping those two pieces together-very working women/casual friday.

wow I really like the last three.

That last image is amazing, the B&W conversion is very clean indeed, and suits that shot perfectly. Im looking at having a go at something like this with my friend soon.
I dont think they will turn out quite that good!

Thanks! have a go it will be awesome, the black and whites are all converted in RAW (ACR 3.1) I find raw editing much more cleaner and crisper than using photoshop actions and filters :p

#2 and 3 are my faves too. She is a pretty girl and I'm glad she'll be posing for you more.

absolutely stunning, and I really like the unique perspectives you found. the only one I don't really care for is the fourth. Although I like the idea, her hands are intruding a bit too much on her face. #5 is much better hand placement and looks much more natural. the muted, slightly desaturated tones work great here.

All pictures awesome - second is my favorite. I like the washed-out appearance and the candid look. I think the washed-out color look is very effective with denim.
