I don't have the 70-210 but I have a 100-300 f/5.6 L for sale, which is about the same age as the one you are looking for. However, being an "L" it might be a bit more expensive than a 70-210. Depends on your expectations. Also, the 100-300 does not have USM.

Thanks, but I'm definitely looking for USM. I'd like to try the 70-210 for skiing photography, and the faster AF the better.
