well I can at least say it works.
she was sitting in her high chair after eating some food and figured might as well try to snap a couple pictures while she was still there.
sigma 530 DG super into 45" bounced umbrella and onboard flash for fill. shots set to 4:1 ratio in the menu

also one last one not related to the above though it is one of the few outdoor shots I have taken and liked, but not sure how you all will see the effect on if it is ok or bleh.
