Was in Dubai a couple of weeks ago, my 18-55mm kit lens broke so I was left with my Nifty Fifty. A few snaps below for C&C: -

With a lot of my images I find that at PP stage I like to add a bit of noise and nearly always think they look better in either B&W or Sepia! Maybe I am just not happy with the colour I get in my shots?

All comments appreciated.

What do you not like about your colored images? I always find that adding contrast & saturation make most of my photo's so much better and they POP more, plus shotting in RAW gives you a lot more options when doing PP.

I think these are cute snapshots/candids. Did you add the vignetting in the last two? It doesn't seem to be even in all corners.
That stinks about your 18-55, you should look into getting a tamron 17-50, I've got one, Its for sure an update from the 18-55 and will perform better in low light situations.

Thanks for coming back.

The heartache of my kit lens breaking will soon be gone when my 17-55mm f2.8 arrives!!!!!!!!!!!

All shots were just candid, and not portrait. For the last two, on PSE I also added in a light effect which creates shadow that I quite like.
