Gave a quick try to the new baby, for those interested, here some shots. No huge PP, just a little USM and on #2 and #4 a little saturation from the RAW file.

Those are nice, but can you post some shots at wild open?

I will as soon as I go out wilth a little less light, this mornin was so bright that the minimum I coud do (just because I forgot that the camera was set to ISO 200 instead of 100) was 1/4000 at f/5 (pic #1)... And I can't go over 1/4000 :)
Exif data are in the pics, BTW.
Anyway, I'm pretty satisfied.

Hey Rob612, did you have a polariser attached? The blue of the sky in the last picture is fantastic!

Nope, no pola. Just, as I stated in my original post, a little saturation (more or less 5%, perhaps, not too much) directly on the RAW file.

Brilliant, great little lens there!

As requested, here a couple of unprocessed 100% crops. The subject (my wife) does not want her pics online so I cannot pass over the whole pic. Sorry the exif are gone but here they are f/2.8, 1/800, 100 ISO
