I like the curving road in the second one, but I would probably crop a little of the foreground out of it.

I Love the pics, it takes me back to 2003 when my (now) wife and I spent about 8 weeks there in March/April. Did you get the chance to see San Gimignano? Definitely our favourite! It's certainly much greener than when we went, see attached pic.
Well done and lovely photos

Hello,
Yes, we were at San Gimignano. However we were on a rush to head to Lucca before dusk since we were on our rental Fiat Punto. We thoroughly enjoyed Tuscany and we can see why people would stay there weeks on end frolicking by the countryside.

Yep Tuscany is great...here's a couple from early May of this year.

I like your shots, particularly the hilltop town, and the winding driveway with the cypress trees. I think we drove past that very spot on the way between Montalcino and Siena.
I love Tuscany too. My next trip to Italy will include at least two weeks in the Tuscany region.
Here's my pic of San Giangiamo from late May of this year ('05).

This was taken from the terrace of the hotel we stayed at just outside San Gimi. The fog was perfect, and it burned off within 30 minutes of that shot.

Wow thats a cool shot of San G. amongst the fog. That windy road spot was b/t Montalcino and Siena! :)
