(Sorry Red, but it had to happen :))
Red came up to my location today to do some shoots (can't go into details). Anyway, while he was doing this I caught him at it. Not a full on chimp as we didn't have the sound effects, but even so, busted !!! :) :)
Cheers
Ian

Ok, so what exactly is "Chimping"? I saw a shot with one forum member being "chimped" with a nude model but I figured it was only a term coined for the post...

making chimp sounds as you share your artistry with others...or only to yourself if you're that impressed.

In my case it would have to be called "Gorillaing"! LOL!
I have caught myself doing that all the time. I think it is quite funny...and I laugh to myself really hard now that I catch my wife doing it!

It looks like a cheap wireless transmitter. I have seen ones on ebay that look similar. My questiong is... Does it work well?

Just you wait, matey! I've got one of you too! And if you'll notice, my thumb is on the zoom buttons, so I was checking detail :o
A shot from back when the lens was in one piece  (Another story that will become another thread, with nasty pics!)
Yes, that's a cheap flash transmitter. I bought it after using Ians. £50 and it works a treat, and it much less cumbersome.
Plastic on the tripod....err....I could say that the plastic makes it easier to carry in the cold...but I'm just lazy really
