06 WRX in couldy CA

There was a break in the rain yesterday, so me and a friend headed out to take some photos. First thread on here, but looking forward to many more! This seems like a great community.

There's just something not right about a clean car on a muddy road. Take the machine through the puddles! It's a WRX. It's made for mud.

Car is beautiful! And as much as I agree as it should be in the mud, the risks of breaking and the fear of paying the price to fix the break is sometimes enough to keep the car nice and safe on the road.

I like 4 the best...I might have shot it with a little more angle on the front pass...maybe even face the car at a slight angle and turned the wheel a little...just my opinion.

Thanks. All but the 4th shot were taken on the now overgrown El Toro Marine Base. The 4th shot was taken on some service road in Lake Forest.

How were you able to get on that base? I thought it was pretty heavily guarded, no?

Not anymore. It's owned by the state now - converting it into the Great Park. Most of it is now open (ready to be torn down). We drove around, found some great spots and we didn't get hassled. Didn't even see any kind of restricted access signs.
