Yeah, I'm not really sure what it actually is - but it was rare, and as you can just about see, he made quite a big dent in the wing!

The car is possibly a Lancia Fulvia HF or a Fiat 124 Sport, they had very similar front and I cannot read the emblem on the grill so I'm not sure. I lean towards the Lancia, perhaps. If so, it was really a hell of a car in its times.
