I'm just practising, these are not meant for anyone. But I've had this idea buzzing around for a while what do you think?

You'll get much better balloon photos if you can keep the children away.
:) :)
I like the idea. The perfect thing for parents who want a creative alternative to the standard child photograph.

Thanks guys. Harder than I thought. In my head it seemed pretty easy. However...Shadows of balloons on faces and BG were hard to control. Lighting the kids whilst trying to not get glare from nearby balloons was seriously tough. I will try and think of a better way to light it next time.
Might try again tomorrow, want to try and shoot through a balloon. Pick up silhouettes that kind of thing.

Great idea and the photos are really very nice. The posing is different though. I would like more smiles and wonderment on the faces. The last one works very nicely I think. This is a great idea and easy to set up.....hmmmmm.....

Nice idea - the fourth one is my favourite but I would like the last one more if it wasn't for that irritating bit of ribbon above her mouth - it calls for a bit of PS editing

I agree about the bits of ribbon and lack of smiles etc. This was just a fleshing out of an idea. If you look closely, actually you don't have to look that closely, you'll see my daughters got a dirty face...little urchins were grabbed in from the garden and shoved in front of the camera...I'll have another go at it soon for real, clean their faces, dress em a bit smarter, force them to smile, with chocolate bribes...never know may even make it onto a wall in the house.
Thanks for your comments.
