Need some help. I'm thinkin about getting a Portable Storage to transfer my images from CF to. I normally have my laptop around.. But 1) too heavy and 2) battery cant charged anymore.. have to use AC Adapter.......

anyway, I did some search in here and noticed ppl are talkin about the Epson. That device aint cheap!!!! and I have to buy a hard drive too?? well what other one is good to read about??? I'm not looking for anything too high tech. I think having a 20G is fine.. but of course more the better... one of those things you never know. Dont have having a LCD screen that can view the images (and MPEG, Divx....) w/o it is fine too.

Johnlo, i assume you are speaking of the Epson P2000, this device in fact has a 40GB hdd built in, you will not have to buy an extra HDD.

You are right that the price is high, but you get what you pay for, and reading the feedback of this device on this forum, most people who buy it are not dissapointed.

I can say personally that i love my P2000, having the ability to review your photos in such crisp clarity is one of the biggest stengths of the P2000. I mean you have gone to all that trouble to take beautiful photos, so why have them display on anything less than a beautiful screen.
