I have one of those multi card reader from Dynex. I formatted an SDHC card with a Card eraser program and now all the diiferent locations of the reader show up except the "G" location for the SDHC slot. I had read that the program possibly killed the MBR file for that drive location. Does anyone know what the best way to fix this would be? I am no Windows expert by a long shot! Thanks

Did you by any outside chance select 'Safely remove' rather than 'eject' when you went to take out your card?
ETA: If you did, Windows is waiting for you to physically remove drive "G" from the system.

Try going into Device Manager and launching "Scan for Hardware Changes" from the "Action" menu (you need to have the computer, not any of the sub-categories, selected).

The standard windows "fix-it reboot" will probably put it all back as well.

Thanks for the replys guys. I found a fix on the net. If you do a serious data destroy format with some of the programs out there be careful. The program was called Active@killdisk and indeed it did kill the data. The good thing is I went to My Computer, right clicked on it and then clicked manage. It saw the missing slot for my multi card reader that was not assigned and I simply assigned letter G for it and all was well with that slot and the rest of my SDHC cards. Windows would still not format the card I data killed or allow any info be sent to it or even read it. I downloaded a Panasonic SDHC drive formatter and it seemed to get it up and going where I can read it and send files to it.
