Canon 1ds error when resizing pics.

I am new to this forum and hoping someone out there can help me. When I resize pics using Photoshop, I get some vertical line distortion. This only occurs if I resize. Any advice?

This sounds like a post-processing problem, not a camera problem. There is a separate forum section for post-processing.

When I take the pics in S, M1, M2 mode, I get the same vertical lines when I use the playback and the card reader. I have tried using different memory cards and still get the same vertical lines. Any suggestions?
