This car had been completely rebuilt/customized. It is powered by a Chevy 350. It is painted Royal Plum. It is a beauty inside and out, with power windows, power seats and a very plush interior. And, like most street rods. . . for sale . . .

Pretty car! I shot a '48 last year, but I'm not sure if it is an "Aero"? I see it almost every week, so I guess I'll have to ask. ;)

I don't know Frank. This 48 was far from being stock, so I can't tell if your shot is an Aero or not. I'm not sure what makes it an Aero. I would have to do some research.
The guy that has this car is only the second owner. He gave me a very detailed printout with all of the details. He parked next to my car, and we talked quite a bit. He's real proud of his car, but I think he's eager to get rid of it and start on another project.
Anyhow, thanks for the reply.

Wow! Both of those cars are just beautiful. I love that "Royal Plum" paint.

Hi Photosguy! Great shot! But your photo is a 1940. Not sure what body style because of the front shot. "Aero" refers to the fastback bodystlye as with the purple one photographed.

Damn! You're right! I don't know where I got that from. Maybe a two-fingered typing MiSTeak. ;)
