This was a beauty. The owner wasn't around, so I don't have any details.

Nice Shot of a Nice Car!! I had a White one... just like the one beside the red one! (normal
'88 Mustang GT) .. but I always wanted a Shelby. He didn't by any chance want to sell, did he?

Sorry Lee, I didn't see any indication that this one was for sale. It was one of the very few. This is a business for most of these guys, and some of them just get tired of their cars and want to start on something else. I'll have to make a point to catch the owner the next time I see this car, and find out.

Don't sweat it too much, John. I was just curious about the current prices on Shelbys. There are three problems with me buying one of these now.
1- I'm in Germany
2- I have two vehicles now, and in Germany, that costs a bit for insurance.
3- and most important... I'm saving for more Canon Lenses!! ;)
Thanks anyway...

4- the current gas prices in Germany are a bit prohibitive for that kind of car
But if you can get it registered as historic car, the insurance won't be that bad...
Other than that, this would be the alternative  (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=83004)
