Hi,
I am having trouble converting this photo to black and white. Below is the best that I can get. No matter what I try his diaper still blows out and I think it is because I had to shoot it in bright early morning light. Can someone please point me to a good Photo 7 tutorial that will help me get better results ? Or if you feel up to it I can post the colored version for you to have a crack at it;) :o ;) ;) ;) lol.

TIA

Maybe just burning the highlights a bit would do the job. You could use a 50% gray overlay and just paint black over the parts you think are too bright.

Also, I would be tempted to try adding a bit of color to the shoes. Somehow the hat seems off balance. I would dedaturate it a bit, but even then a little color on the shoes would help draw the eye down a bit. Then your looking up at the head, then down at the shoes, and see the kid inbetween.

Very cute picture. My wife wants me to do something like that for a T-shirt. A picture like that on the back, and one taken from the front on the front of the shirt. A bit cheesy, but hey, she's a mom. :)

Good luck with it.
