Looks like the tomato crop this year is looking good. Shot at our local Farmers' Market this morning.

This is just my opinion but I think you need to work a little on the composition and try to get the shot from a more interesting angle. Maybe a close up shot of the tomatos using your Tamron would have helped.
Also, The colors need a little more saturation.

I like the idea. Seems you're trying to convey not just the tomatoes, but the abundance and the regularity of the display. I agree with Al Nakib that different compositions may also have been ineresting, maybe a shot from an angle showing the rows of baskets fading into the distance.
Working with what you have (which is good all by itself), you might blur and darken the background. I didn't increase color saturation in your pic since I thought they look just like real tomatoes. Hope you don't mind my editing your take.
Nice work.

I agree a tad more blur would have been nice. The feeling I was trying to evoke included the arm extending in the background, to give it a feeling like people were there handling the fruit, and so forth.
OTOH, a higher angle shot, showing the tomatoes trailing off (and getting progressively blurred) in the distance would have been interesting, too.

I actually like the angle of the shot and the arm in the background. You didn't take at eye level, which makes it interesting.
