I have Just finished reading an excellent article in the Outdoor Photography magazine February, 03 Issue about accessory lenses for digital cameras. The article is written by Rob Sheppard on page 66 titled "Expand Your Digital Camera's Range". In his artticle he lists all types of lenses for non SLR digital cameras. What is interesting, he list a lenses's manufacturer called Century Optics. It seems that they manufacture superb quality add-on lenses. Did any one have the chance of using them with their G2??
Although the author has listed most of the lenses' manufacturers, there is no mention of Raynox lenses which are sold by www.bugeyedigital.com and also on ebay.

I also have seen some beautiful pictures that were taken with G2 and Olympus WCON-08 wide angle- a 62 mm rear mount, somewhere on the net. Since the LA-DC 58 Conversion Lense Adapter is 58 mm front mount, then I assume you need a 58 to 62 mm step-up ring adapter.

I just had a look at the "century optics" website and their 1.6x teleconverter is listed at a whopping $895 US. I for one am considering things like the Kenko KNT-20 (2x) which sells for $70 , the Tiffen (2x) is $65 and the Raynox (1.85x) is $110. There is a japanese site most people here quote for comparisons between these lenses, I'd be curious what (if anything) the author had to say about them vice the Century Optics one.

It's not quite that bad. B&H photo has a Century Optics 2x teleconverter with a 58mm mount for $400.00.....
