A quick preview of some images from my Farne Island (Northumberland Coast Bird Sanctuary) trip yesterday. My first photography venture into birds and I enjoyed every minute, just found something new which could become very addictive!! ;)

David, I like the series of shots--especially the ones in flight. Those are difficult to do. And those puffins are the funniest looking birds! Good catches!

WOW these are stunning David - I'm SOOO envious of you going to the Farne Islands :) Somewhere I would love to visit, there was some great footage recently on BBC's SpringWatch.

Puffins are one of my favourite birds, I love the compisition in your shot - great to have the 2nd bird in the background, looking at you. It's hard to catch something different from the classic Puffin shots but you have succeeded. 8-)

The Tern in flight is particularly spectacular - fills the frame and is an unusual angle.
