I took my G3 to work with me thursday, so I could take a few photos at lunch time. Something would I never have even considered with my old SLR.

So come lunch time I trotted off down to Federation Square in Melbourne. To my delight there were 2 very photogenic models there and they were asking people to have their photo taken with them.

There was an official photographer of course, but I didn't really want my photo taken. However I did take the opportunity to take my own photos.

I didn't get their permission so I won't be posting their pictures. Don't worry you can stilll see the official photographers pictures at this site:

Not as good as my photos of course.

The photos I took were without fill flash. My intension was to return after taking shots elsewhere and ask if I could take a possed shot with the fill flash.

Unfortunately I committed every possible sin with the battery and it ran out just as I was about to return. No backup battery yet.

When I get a chance I post some of the other photos I took

Post their pictures. You are not profitting from it are you? I don't think there is a problem there if you do that, right?

OK

If you go to my Webshots page, it's the 3rd Album.

Or, go straight to that album via this link:

You will see what I meant about needing fill flash.
Also, the auto focus did it's nasty trick on a few.

A question: what is it that is, as you say - very photogenic about those girls? I know they think they are hot, but it doesn't come across from what I see. Nice pics, though. Are you sure it wasn't just the excitement of happening upon some unexpected oogling time?

Looks like 'Netspace' beat you to the punch of exploiting people for their own interests.
