Yesterday was another opportunity to photograph the Tall Ships at Tacoma's Freedom Fest. From my boat, I was able to capture this images:

very very beautiful shots
I especially love three and four

nice that you were on a boat to photograph them

the tall ships at Portsmouth in the UK will be on their way to Waterford in Ireland shortly
I will see them there again
last time was in Dublin a few years ago
your photos show a very different batch (type) from what comes over here

what is the white capped mountain in the distance in #1 photograph ?

Marie, thanks for the comments. The mountain is Mount Rainier, 14,400+ feet tall and the port in the background is Tacoma, WA.

Wonderful shots... I love the Tall Ships and these are good enough to print and frame!

the mountain looks wonderful in the background , behind the 'slender' shot of the ship
Thanks

These are shots you would see in Travel Brochures or in Nautical magazines, truly great work.
