Entering Motocross event... Run n gun or silent entry?

I am going to Atlanta this weekend (leaving Friday) and going to get some sweet practice pics!

When I get to the Dome should I have my camera out or just leave it in its bag? I am curious what everyone else does. I don't want my gear smashed by them fondling the bag. I will be bringing a bag in regardless.

What should I do?

First, leave it in the bag. Second, what gear are you taking? Depending on your gear you might want to check with the venue for their camera restrictions.

According to the Georgia Dome website, professional cameras or cameras with interchangeable lenses are prohibited. Bring your point and shoot.
