Hello all,
I am new to this forum and just wanted to say hello. I recently got the D60 (after waiting through the woderful backorder cycle) and I have to say, I Love It! Here is a shot from my first shoot with it. I'd love to get some feedback. I lookforward to hearing from ya'll. Take care, David

To me there's just a bit too much shadow. I want to see more of the girl but her face is hidden in shadow. I think the shadow would be fine if it was just head and shoulders. This is still a good shot though. I like her pose.

David,
You have some excellent shots on your site. This one appears slightly underexposed compared to your other shots. I'm no pro, but it seems to me that your main light is positioned a little low and that you need more fill. And why'd you cut off her feet?
I agree with Jen that the father&daughter shot is terrific.
Regards, and keep posting!

This shot Verica 01 is potentially very good.
As Mitch says, an unusual place to end the base of the image.
With her legs and feet complete would be good but
personally I'd like to have the image cropped off just
below the top button.
Then if you crop much more tightly around her
you have a picture with IMPACT.
The only fault then would be the left arm.
Darkening it would help.
As mentioned in your other post, plan your compositon with great care
before firing the shutter.
