35mm 1.4 or profoto acuteb600 kit

here's my dilema.i have extra money so im planing to buy one of 35mm 1.4 new or a used strobe light " profoto acuteB600 kit"..

my curent gears:

24-70L
70-200 2.8 IS
580exII
430ex

days ago i sold my 135mm 2.0.that was too long on my shooting style so planing to buy a new 35mm 1.4 at this time my friend ask me if i need his strobe "profoto acuteb600 kit",generetor,2 batteries ,softbox 60x60,acute head 600 and sekonic L758d with module.probably they will cost 3,500.00euro for new...then he asked me for those at 1,300.00 euro same price of 35mm 1.4..

so what should i do?
the reason that i sold my prime lens is to get the shorter one..

I'm not much of a lighting person, so can't advise you there. All I can say is that the 35L is a spectacular lens. You can shoot in virtually no light (with higher ISO, of course) and get great results. You can't go wrong with it, in my o.

get the profoto gear - no questions asked. You can always get the lens later ;)

I prefer natural light so I'd go 35L, its really a fantastic lens!
