I took these today at the beach.It was really cloudy and snowing(flurries) but I went out anyway and this was the best I could do.Have a look.

no close up lens just uv filter that's it.and a little ps on the B+W pic.

Do you notice any diff with the UV filter on? (ie, does it affect sharpness, colour)?

I think it may add to the sharpness a bit but thats just my opinion.I mostly use it for protecting my lens.If I'm not using any other filter such as a polerizer or warming I always have the uv on.Hope this helped.

I didn't really keep track of all the specifics but i do know the shutter speed was 1/1000@f/4.The focal length was 23mm,And EV+1.Hope that helped.
