Took a short drive around today not far from my house and took a few of the barns in the area.

These are wonderful, Sandy. What lens did you use?

Makes me want to plan a trip back east this autumn........

Nice shots Sandy, I especially like the first with that blue Connecticut sky we had today.

Thanks Maureen and viczig. Maureen, I'm using the Sigma DC 18-125, and I love it, very seldom comes off the camera. It does tend to have a soft focus at the extremes.
Ya! viczig this week-end has turned into a real gem. I must have been angled to much into the sun on the other ones for the sky to be blown out like that. I did notice some clouds moving in. I have got to get myself an ND or polerizing filter.

beautiful barns Sandy
I especially love the first and the third

the second is slightly slanted . seems to be slipping to the left
taken from a different angle may help

you say it is a learning centre but am not sure if it is the following barn or that shot
wouldn't surprise me if it is not that onehttp://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif
learning was always a bit leaning towards the lefthttp://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif

Thanks Marie, the first is my favorite also. The 3rd one is the learning center and It would suprise me if the 2nd is really leaning, most of the barns around here do lean a lot.  so it's hard to tell if it's the way you photographed it or if the barn really does lean.
