A few weeks ago I asked for feedback on this site. I have just redesigned it, so I want to know what everyone thinks now. It wasn't a planned update, but recently new options became available so I decided to update it.

I really would like to know how my choice of poses, styles, etc. is- should I do less of something, more of something else? Especially with the wedding photography.

Also, I know the header photo on 'contact us' needs a full border, I will be fixing that soon.

Thanks!

It doesnt have flash. I have satellite internet so my connection varies, but typically it does good. Just now it loaded in about 3 seconds.

OK, it loaded now.

In Firefox there are at least three different fonts on the home page, quite distracting.

Why all black and white images?

Also in FF the spacing isn't correct and words run into or on top of each other.

hmm, I will have to try to see it in FF... not sure how to fix that. Thanks.

Why all black and white images?

There should only be two fonts- a fancy one (wendy medium) and a more plain one. The host I use doesn't allow any font on certain sections, don't know why...

I chose black and white to play against the 'show your true colors'. My galleries are mostly color.

ah, ok. thanks. I may be able to increase spacing between lines to help with that.

Hey, i like your site. you have some great pics on there. The only thing that might be annoying is the fonts of the site links. If they weren't in the same font as 'Bluetree Photography, show us your true colors', I think it would be awesome. Maybe consider just a basic font for the links. Sometimes basic fonts stand out more and are less offensive (busy) at the same time. Any 'real' person is going to look at your work instead of your HTML prowess, if they want wedding pictures. Unfortunately presentation is everything these days. We have to take good pictures, make good websites, get babies to smile AND remember to say please and thank you. Can't we just shoot?!:D

Okay, I'm no website guru, so take a look at mine if you can, and let me have it. Don't hold anything back.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. I guess I do need to change the font of my page buttons. I hate to do it, but you aren't the first person to mention that specific thing, so I guess majority rules :)

Hey, just noticed you are in Jtown. I use to work out there in the summers, and now I live north of Pittsburgh.

Also, I like your site, but several photos didn't want to load... but that could be my satellite internet in the snow :)

Stupid internet gnomes, always messing something up ;)

I'll be sure to ask permission if I get a client up that way!

For SEO, I suggest changing your <title> page tag from 'Blue Tree Photography' to something like 'Emlenton PA Wedding, Children and Family Photography'. If you want still use your business name, put it in the end. If you can edit your home page with some good <h1>, <h2> etc tags, then do it.

If you don't know about SEO, search SEO here and on the web. :)

Yea, that is something I need to know more about, thanks for pointing that out. So would that mean changing the actual layout of what words appeared first on my site? (Emlenton... would have to go above my business name?)

Thanks!

No, you don't have to change the layout. All you need to do is change the text on the title page called "Blue Tree Photography" to something like "Emlenton PA Wedding, Children and Family Photography".

If you can change your template than you can edit/change some of the text using <h1> and <h2> tags. If not don't worry about it.
