I kind'a like what I see here, but there's some stuff that makes me not know what to feel. :)
I think that out of all of the shots, the pastels should definitely be in color, otherwise it doesn't say "pastels"...
The faucet/spigot is interesting to me, but it needs to have a deeper depth of field, I do like how the background is though.
The English ivy one is pretty good, actually my favorite really, it has interest, and it's shot pretty well, (it could still have a little more DOF) and it's got some color.
The color though could use some livening up, maybe go a little crazy in Photoshop, or whatever program you have, if you believe in that stuff, because it would make an otherwise ordinary shot, more full of life and interest.
The top right part of the shot where the vines are are kind of a distraction, not real bad, but if you could, clone that out, it would help I think.
It all good, but for me, it could be a lot better with something along these lines as a way to add more interest to each one.
You could go semi-grungy on any or all of these to make them something they aren't, or... not. :)

Depth of field is shallow on all of them. Was this your goal? I don't think it's working. One of the challenges of macro photography is dealing with the shallow depth of field. 95% of the time (don't hold me to the figure), you need a tripod and remote release.
In the first one, is that a handful of pastels? Why go black & white when color would seem to be the object?

#1 leave the pastels in color more contrast.
#2 love the color/hue wish the knob was (more)in focus too.
#3 Pull some off the right side of the photo and sharpen a little (more).

I agree with Joe...the DOF is all over the place.

In terms of composition they are all very good. Technique not so much. As mentioned, your chosen DOF just isn't working for you here. The first one is certainly a subject I'd revisit, its a unique take.

Thanks guys, I totally agree about the DOF. These were all while I was very new to dof and the like. Everytime I see the pastel picture that foreground oof one gets to me. Though I don't know if I would like it more in color. Of course this was while I was shooting jpg so I might just revisit that today
