I used to use pbase.com but now they are charging - any more similar free enterprises?

I'm looking for a good place to park my images too.
Meanwhile I use http://geocities.yahoo.com/ but their free page has a as banner and only allows a minimum of bandwidth. They want a few dollars too.

Check out this link to a great new site. Its free for the first year, and then only $6.00 per year, an amount, I believe anyone with a digicam can afford.

No wonder it's free. Always stick by, "If it sounds to good to be true, it is." Unreal. The site is so complex and I think there maybe a glich in their system. Pics are all blurry, in some galleries. Takes a year and a day to get one photo to the page. Site is soooooo slow. Some controls don't work, wizard doesn't know if he's coming or going. I think wizard needs to lay off the martinis :O Way too much of a headach:~( Maybe someone else will have better luck.....Make sure there's a pot of coffee beside you. You'll need it....

Maybe there was a server problem when you were trying to access it. I have posted some shots to share with family there without any problem.
I haven't posted anything else on the net before, so haven't anything to compare it to. Maybe others are easier and faster (I don't know), but you can't beat the price.

You also might want to check out http://www.sendpix.com/.
ACDSee offers it.
You might have to buy the program to use the free service, which isn't a bad idea because the ACDSee browser is the best thing out there. It is user friendly and effortlessly handles 90% of my basic image needs.
