One of my favorite artists is Edward Hopper, He had a very unique way of depicting a scene espicially by the angle that he took.

Well this is almost in one of his styles.

very nice shot and scene Sandy

I don't know about Edward but I would have went a little more up the grass to get (a little?) more of the house in view

beautiful colours in the house and the grass
together they look good

the wires are in all our shots everywhere.
hard to see them sometimes until they go up on the computer and we wonder who on earth http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif
or what were they thinking.

I had a telephone wire going across the back garden to a pole, at an angle
one day I rang the telephone company and asked them could they do a better job
there was no need for it to be that angle
(I looked first to see the 'whole' situation and what maybe could be done)
well they came out and done a much better job
got into the attic and brought the wires out through the side of the house under the roof
I asked why didn't they do that in the first place

took the easy option
(he said sheepishly)

Thanks for the comment Marie, I agree about getting more of the house into the shot, course than it would have meant getting me out of my car    and standing up.
