I'm afraid #1 doesn't work for me at all. However, #2 is brilliant - I absolutely love the simplicity of the composition. Nice work.

interesting. I've had some-one give the exact opposite opinion about them. I guess with this type of photography it's much more of a personal subjective view whether they have any artistic/aesthetic value or not.
