i had to post this one. it's a crap shot. there is water on the lens. the highlights are blown due to the amount of water diffusing the light. the subject's exposure is off. but it makes me smile. we were walking out to danger point in victoria falls. it's not raining, nor is it very cloudy. the wind through the gorge blows water as it goes over the falls hundreds of feet up into the air, where much of it lands on the opposite side of the gorge from the falls. there is as much water falling down on suze's head as if she stood under a showerhead.
needless to say, we were both soaked. the 1dmk2's 'weatherseal' is amazing. after this, i wouldn't worry if i dropped it in a creek. and to think i was once worried about a downpour in the rainforest...
