Shot Counting

Back for a short time.
I've just bought a slightly used 20D to replace the 300D that has given me good service. Can someone remind me how to access the total number of shots taken on both? I know I've seen it in a thread somewhere, but it may be too old now.

Please help.

It's not possible to tell that for sure.

If you set the file numbering to 'continuous', the name of the image should show the number of images taken.

But if you have reset the counter once or swapped CF cards between the cameras, it will be screwed up.
