Thank you for the kind words. I joined this forum a few months ago, but did not do much with it, probably because I couldnt take very good pics. However, I spend hours practicing and hopefully now have some decent shots.

I find it hard to take much credit for this shot. he truly did sit there and pose for me. He just watched me the whole time I was getting ready for the shot. I did remember to thank him for that.

BEC is in Hollywood Fl. on convention, she has asked me to say mucho thanks for all the kind replies and she is very much encouraged by all the great people on this Forum. as far as lighting set-up, plain ol' natural sunlight.

Thank you all for such kind words. It truly inspires me to get out and get more pics.I am back from my conference and ready to go.Sadly, I felt that taking my camera with me to Hollywood while on conference was not a good idea,and I missed MANY wonderful photo options. BE was going to meet me there tonight so we could take pics together and the threat of hurricane Dennis forced me to return home ASAP. Maybe next time. Again, many thanks for the encouragement.
