I used the Painterly preset. I know some feel this might be a tad overprocessed, but I like the end result.

I agree with Gary. It looks a bit dull and some contrast would help greatly.

I read the title and thought it somehow had to do with your neighbors shedding after snow.

To don't seem to have a lot of detail in your shadows, which is one of the goals of HDR. House seems underexposed. The snow lacks shadow detail that I would expect from an HDR. THe shed seems underexposed. Was this taken from a single RAW, or did you shoot multiple exposures? Also, the details seem soft. What was your aperture?

I generally try shooting my HDRs with a narrow aperture to give me a wide depth of field. Then the HDR process brings out all of those details in that depth of field.

keep trying.. I agree the contrast was not high enough.. better on the second try, but play around more.

Multiple shot HDR, 3 shot braket 2 stops apart. I believe my aperture was 9 or 10.
