Had a blast shooting this weekend shooting Justin Homan of Metal Mulisha at his track. Got some cool shots where I had the camera mounted on his bike...little sketchy in theory but was well worth the risk.

Behind the scenes footage of the entire day, as well as photos and a description of how I mounted the camera on the bike can be found on my blog here-

Great set Jimmy, even the horizon looks level on the 1st shot. Awesome.

Cheers

The mounted shots are cool but the super loose shots, especially with the strobe in them, are very boring. Try to hide your lighting as opposed to having this huge white lens flare in the middle.

The flare and strobe location was intentional and planned out. I got a mix of results. And as far as capturing him hitting those jumps what would you suggest? Tight crops don't show how high he is in the air, vertical ones don't show the landing or the take off. Showing the take off and the landing as well as the peak of the action shows his height and how far he's traveling in the air...

the mount shot is the best! Just so you know you have some dust spots in the right hand part of the sky

+1 for me. I reckon they are fine. Good on you for trying stuff.

I reckon those wide shots show the situation great! Nice set.
