Okay here is the before and after (of PP) of a photo I took, as you can see the main thing i did was clean up all the object in the sky. Any critiques on the photos and/or advice for PP would be awesome.

Straightened horizon
Got rid of 1 branch
Cropped out some of sky (competing with boats for interest)

Saturation increased - probably a bit too much but you get the idea.

Tighter crop, cloned the branch crossing the horizon. Adjusted local contast with usm and then global contrast/saturation with curves. While in curves I added a little more blue to tweak the colour balance. Finished with a quick clean up of jpeg artifacts and a lab sharpen. The full res version would be quite a nice little image imo, I'd probably clone out a few boats to make it less busy though.

(competing with boats for interest) Don't the lights on the horizon bother anyone else? I'd clone them out, too.
