7D Football action

[Tvw]

My team PSV had an easy game yesterday when they played against RKC Waalwijk. RKC is currently at the bottom of the league (and will probably stay there). The final score was a 5 - 1 victory for PSV.
We're still on top of the league. The next coming matches will be much more difficult and will decide if we stay on top of the table.

Bad news having to beg for responses mate! These are great action shots. Beautiful background and stunningly clear and sharp. Being from the other side of the world I know nothong of the teams:D, but really appreciate the fine shooting here.

Excellent action shots once again. What sort of AF settings are you using for the 7D? I got my replacement body during the week and I've an important cup match tomorrow and need it to be spot on straight from the box. You've obviously got yours operating well.

With normal speed I meant medium (needle in the middle). I've tried fast speed for a short while. Still experimenting what the best settings are.
I'm getting good results with the settings I'm currently using, but maybe the AF can be improved even more when tweaking these settings.

Dat Mandy nu bij ons speelt is erg, echt erg. Dat de Russische transfermarkt nu nog open is, vind ik trouwens zeer vreemd (Lazovic weg).
Mandy is een speler die al jaren niet speelt, nooit de kwaliteiten heeft gehad om bij een topclub te spelen en daarbij ook nog eens totaal niet afgetraind is. Ik hoop dat Rutten dit goed ziet.

Thanks for the help Tim. New one seems to work well although the autofocus was slower to latch on initially than the 40D, but when it did, it was more consistent and tracked more accurately.

My purchase of that lens has nothing to do (directly) with sports.
I was looking for a nice portrait lens for a while, but never bought one because of the price. Now I got a good deal. ;)
