I'm not talking about IQ but about the manual.

I just bought a G10 to take with me on an upcoming trip and I swear that the 1D and 5D series cameras are much easier to figure out how to operate! Damn this little camera has a boatload of menu options! :p

Point and Shoots tend to have more of the options buried in the menus because of their smaller size you get less dedicated buttons and dials.

lol once u get used to the G10 u'll find other less buttoned/dialed point n shoots even harder to use!

I love how the G10 has dials for exposure comp. ISO n shooting modes!

It makes it so much easier/quicker to use!
