The last shot is just angelic! The shapes created by the arms and legs outside of the fuzzy woobie are really captivating. Thank you for sharing. I've got some new ideas to try out with my own family. :)

Wow I really like these. You really can tell how translucent his skin truly is from his eyelids, but you've done a great job making it look very natural in my eyes. How old is he?

using lr2 or even something as simple as gimp or picasa, if you add warmth to the picture, it will add some color to the pale skin, which is what it looks like she did in these photographs. there are other means, as well, but this one is the simplest and what i tend to use.

Well I think she probably used layer masks though because the warming effect isn't seen throughout the entire photo, only on the flesh bits.

:) Thankyou ! - Yes layer masks and some very slight burning.
He was 12 weeks old, but was born 10 weeks early, so he was small for his age, and mega sweet.
I had a prem baby too - born 12 weeks early, so I kind of had a soft spot for this little man, knowing what a rocky start to life he'd had.
I appreciate your comments :)

i thought that the overall appearance of the first one looked warmer (baby, blanket, and all), but yea, you appear to be correct.

against the white blanket he almost blended in ! I only had to add some colour to a few, against the blue, he was stark white, and his mum had already said to me that the last lot of photos from a big company (won't name names) were terrible and he had a sickly look about him, he was blue/green because of the background colours. So I used cream/white and gave him some skin tone, she was thrilled !
