Apart from this being a nice shot, I'm curious as to the flight maneuver this thing was performing when you got this.
(trying to figure out all the condensation points...)

It's moisture in the air, not the sound barrier. Planes are not allowed in US airspace to break the barrier, unless they are in a military flight zone. While done at many, many airshows in the 1960's it has not been allowed for some time now.

OK, thanks. I've only seen one other picture like it and that was of one that the F-14 was breaking the sound barrier. Does the moisture collect on the air frame or is the moisture similar to a cloud?

That's a very nice shot!Does the moisture collect on the air frame or is the moisture similar to a cloud? Isn't it an altering of the air pressure that changes the dew point?
