These pic's were taken at Point Pelee National Park in Ontario Canada.
I am a beginner and would apreciate some feedback!

The first picture has way too much going on in it. There is no focal point, so my eyes are just wandering around.

The second picture is very nice though, nice color and composition.

I agree with what Mike said. For a picture like the first one, maybe a shallow depth, focused on the big tree, with a nice blurry background.

(... and another place I used to go when I was younger...)

Thanks! I wish I had a macro or a zoom to capture the bee in the flower......my next purchase for sure!
