Don't see as many of these nowadays. Was crossing the road at a wildlife refuge today. I snapped the pic and then made sure it made it back into the woods. What an awesome turtle.

Wow, that is a gorgeous turtle! I've never seen a redish-skin turtle in my life. Great capture ngannet.

Very nice shot. Looks like he'd been out partying ( eyes all bloodshot shell cocked to one side )and was late getting home.

Hahaha, yeah, well it was a holiday weekend! Thanks fellas for the nice comments. I've never seen one with reddish skin like that either.
