Been getting several requests for head shots from my real estate clients. These shots all necessitate providing images on disk, but I am not sure what to charge. This is site work, not in the studio.

What are folks charging out there?

Thanks.

Depends on the license that they want.

What is the intended usage of the photos? Get them to give you details.

Advertising -- Website, flyers, etc. Full use, can't sell for profit.

Man, I recently finished shooting a whole series of shots for the most prominent real estate agent in town. I can't say they're all like this, but he was a total PITA and, notwithstanding his incredible historic home filled with antiques and hand painted murals on walls, was one of the cheapest sons of a gun that I ever met. He also kept changing his mind about stuff, which drove me nuts. I hope that you have better luck. At least he paid his bill when I delivered the final products. What he paid me simply wasn't worth all the aggravation . . . .

I actually quoted two prices

With my background -- $75 first shot, $50 each thereafter for the other agents, using the same setup.

For environmental -- $75 an hour (setting them up is a bitch.)

It seemed most folks are charging $95, so it gets me started without giving it away.

You didn't get ripped off, you hired a good headshot photographer. My fees are about middle-of-the-road.
